Blood test results

Dr R. Ahmed · 18 March 2026

Dear Sarah,

Your recent blood test results are now available. Your FBC and U&E results are all within normal range. Your LDL cholesterol is 3.1 mmol/L which is slightly elevated — I'd recommend we review your Atorvastatin dose at your next appointment.

Please book a follow-up in the next 4–6 weeks. In the meantime, continue your current medications.
Dr R. Ahmed · 10:14am
Thank you, Dr Ahmed. I'll book a follow-up this week. Should I be making any dietary changes in the meantime?
You · 11:32am
Yes — reducing saturated fat intake can help. Aim for more oily fish, nuts, and plant-based foods. The British Heart Foundation website has helpful resources. We can discuss further at your appointment.
